Ho ho ho…. I am back from Saturday’s adventure, definitely worth going, and had lots of fun up there, but very tired and exhausted nevertheless. My body feels shattered… my muscles ached and my joints are painful. Ow…
Started leaving the house at 7.20am, 20 minutes off-schedule. Notice that the morning sun is just starting to rise and its rays of lights is bouncing off the sky…

Reached the base of the hill at around 8.00am, me being the only girl together with 5 good friends that took good care of me. How sweet…
It was quite embarassing that I nearly fainted within 10-15 minutes the moment we started hiking upwards. It was not even any big project climbing yet, and I started to daze and paled out in colour. I blame myself for not being able to control my breath in a consistent manner and could not follow my friend’s fast rapid pace. Really appreciate Sze Bor for waiting and carrying my bag while I recover. The rest just teased me for my inability.
This is taken on the first rest station. Note the sky is rather hazy and the sight-seeing is disrupted. Damm polution.
The stop at second station. Note that the group are getting real tired from the trip. Of course what..! All plain dull hiking and no steep rock climbing. I got bored easily. Thank God I did some sandwiches to bring along for energy-replenisher/snacking. At least there’s something to munch on.
Ah Juan got some special treatment from Meng Fong and Ah Sou. Newbie ma… Special massages n shoulder rubs to help rejuvenate from the hectic hiking.

While me, rested on the rocks and kept on gobbled water like there’s no tomorrow. See me? Gleaming in sweat oh… such a horrible horrendous look!

Meng Fong and Ah Juan pretending to be the coolest guys on top of the hill. Bleh~ *But honestly, he Meng Fong does look good in this pic (o.0)
Don’t you think the little forest, amid being just bushes, grasses and small trees looks fantastic in this photo? It does look surreally beautiful here, misty and so refreshing to the eyes…
One thing amusing about this little forest. Mobile phone reception is crispy clear. That means no matter how wild we go or how lost we perceived we could go deep/lost we are in there , help is still reachable provided our phone batteries don’t konk out.
Finally Ah Kwang can’t stand it (fly white flag), so a little prep massage was given.
Cigarrettes … cis… I wonder when they will outgrow such habits.
About 10.00am and after numerous stops, we finally reached the scenic part of the journey. It was hazy and being in such poor state, it affected my camera photo qualities. Anyhow the dam of Ampang district looks amazingly beautiful from this point of view.
Last stop at the hiking area, and we were about to experience more fun after that…which I anticipated eagerly the whole morning… ROCK CLIMBING~~~~
Yeah… rock climbing woo hoo rock climbing~!!!
But Alas somebody couldn’t "tahan" liao…. Kept on asking when all will be over… ha….
See me? Damm excited…

Then… by 1.30pm, rock climbing session is over
Going back to Resumed hiking downhill unrelunctantly. I heard my own footsteps dragging heavily on the soil…
To exit Melawati Hill, we had to pass by a small route stretching over a fruit orchard. Despite it’s durian season, there is not a single bijik durian on the trees nor the ground, but we saw some petais dangling from a tree branch on top of Ah Sou’s head while we rest to catch our breath though…
Then within 1/2 hour, we were out and returned to our respective cars. God, it was so hectic we were all exhausted. I lay slumped on Meng Fong’s car seat and felt so sticky and uncomfortable from all the profuse sweating.
But it was really fun and nice. Never been so darn active ever since school days. Definitely wanna go again next time.
Unforgetable experience…haha…
Now its time to go for a tummy filling Bak Kut Teh lunch… Hungry oh….
