Stick and Stones and Human Words
"Sticks and stone will break my bones, but words can’t hurt me."
Wrong. Totally wrong. In fact words hurt the most.
Words can slice my heart. Words can tear me apart. Words can make me go ballistic.
The worst of the lot? Purported avoidance. Translated to simple language = Simply and PURPOSELY leave you out of sight. How cruel.
