These were sent to me by one of my favourite clients, a humble and polite malay businessman who is very rich, but never shows off at all. A surprise farewell gift, and I never felt so appreciated by anyone for doing my job. Caught me off guard as I never expect anything from anyone.

This year, my simplest and hush-hush birthday ever, no big big celebrations compared to previous years.
My birthday cake (from nice colleagues, they even sang the birthday song for me!)….
My largest birthday gift (not from anyone, but to arrive on my birthday, so I treated it as a "birthday present" although me, myself and I am paying the installments every month, down payment courtesy of parents though :D)….
My sexiest birthday gift (a bling bling undie from my best friend)….

My anticipated birthday gift (a promise from Ah Fei, bet you he can’t keep it forever)…
~Ah Fei, my boyfriend, promised to gradually quit smoking, ie. from half a pack of cigarettes to only 3 sticks per day within a month, and to try not smoking at all 2nd month forward.
Yes dear friends, I’ve got myself a brand new car. I know I know, a lot of people compared this cute little Viva (see pics) with Perodua’s most trusted MyVi. But hey, that would be comparing apple with orange wouldn’t you think so?
I choose the metalic jade colour, which come out to be the exact colour of kelisa imago. A colour that is not silver, not green, not lime, not blue, not gold but a combination of all the said colours. Conclusion : NICE! (Pics shown are in silver, nope not this colour :P)
I kind of like Viva’s exterior design, as compared to MyVi, I find MyVi’s rear bumper a bit too large, too clumsy looking I may say, although MyVi’s interior is wider. My family is genetically lean so I don’t really need such a wide spaced car. In fact a narrower car will help me zip through traffic jams better.
Yep, the body is quite filmsy, as compared to foreign models, but hey, can’t compare apple with orange remember? National cars are like that wat….
One thing I like most, fuel consumption is not a lot. Oh hohoho, I won’t need to splurge on fuel.
The best part of receiving my brand new car is… I managed to get hold of the car on my birthday, now doesn’t that spell something good for my big day?
Today is Saturday, a weekend and is also the Yang Di Pertua Agong’s birthday. Supposedly I should be enjoying my holiday either mingling with my loved ones or chilling out with my friends.
Yet I sacrificed my precious time by choosing to return to office to settle my backlogs and outstanding work matters. ON SATURDAY 11.00 AM TO 5.00 PM. Somebody commented I am too indulged in work. Workaholic wor…Maybe.
Yet some of my friends just wouldn’t understand and thought that I choose love over friendship. I have been explaining over and over again my job requires me to work long hours without fail, and that explains why I have been out of the circle since late last year. As a result I can see everyone of them started drifting away from me. Felt so isolated. I feel so hollow inside. So empty…..
I hope after the big decision I have made on 29 May 2007 will bring improvements to my social life. Really don’t stand being all alone anymore.
